Houston's Best Receiving Warehouse for Designers and Hotels
Orders for a River Oaks renovation ship to our Houston receiving warehouse in Spring Branch and stay out of the humidity until our crew carries them in.

Why Houston projects ship to a receiving warehouse
A receiving warehouse takes deliveries for you at a commercial dock. Vendors and freight carriers ship to Sowden Road instead of a house still under construction. Each shipment is signed for on arrival, photographed still wrapped and compared with your list. It then sits in climate-controlled storage until the rooms can take all of it at once.

How receiving works on Sowden Road

Receive
Vendors ship to 12333 Sowden Road, Houston, TX 77080, with an appointment booked Monday to Friday between 9am and 3pm. Your list of what is coming, plus the bill of lading, should reach us first; a shipment that lands unannounced is traced through the carrier or sender to its project instead of being refused.
Inspect, Photograph, and Document
The outside of every carton is condition-checked against your list; crushed corners are reported before shelving, and a full inspection is done on request. The arrival pictures are logged in Bond against your project, and your login shows what has reached Sowden Road and what is still in transit.
Store
The order waits in secured, climate-controlled space while a Memorial kitchen is finished or a Tanglewood remodel runs into hurricane season. You are welcome to visit the pieces, and fresh photos are one request away.
Deliver and install
When the house is ready, our own crew loads the full order in Spring Branch, texts you about 30 minutes before arriving and covers floors, doors and railings on the way in. Heavy pieces move on proper equipment, everything is placed and assembled, and the crew hauls away every box and blanket.
Three ways to take a Houston delivery, side by side
| What you get | Receiving warehouse | Self-storage unit | Standard 3PL |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who is there when the truck pulls in | Signed for on Sowden Road under your project name | Nobody, unless you wait at the unit | Dock workers, who log it as inventory |
| What is recorded when it lands | Wrapped pieces photographed and matched to your list; cartons opened if you ask | Nothing at all | A scan or a carton count |
| Through August heat and humidity | Climate- and humidity-controlled, with pest control | Varies from one facility to the next | Racked for order picking, conditions vary |
| A crushed or soaked carton | You hear about it before it is stored | Found when you finally open it | Settled under the contract terms |
| Townhouses and high-rises | Route covered, certificate of insurance issued | You find and pay a mover | Not usually offered |
| How it finishes | Placed, assembled, packaging taken away | You carry it in yourself | Dropped at the curb or a dock |
