What a receiving warehouse does
A receiving warehouse accepts deliveries on your behalf, so nothing arrives at a site that is not ready. At our Long Island City warehouse, each item is checked against your order, photographed, logged and stored. When the room is finished, everything is delivered and installed in one visit.
What’s included in receiving
Delivery acceptance — Carriers book into the Review Avenue dock, so nothing is turned away at a closed site or left with a doorman.
Inspection on arrival — Every item is opened and checked against your purchase order while the vendor can still be held to it.
Photo condition records — Each piece is photographed when it lands, and the images are yours to share with your client.
Climate-controlled storage — Goods are held in conditioned space for as long as a renovation or a co-op board approval takes.
Consolidation — Orders from several makers are grouped by project and released together as a single delivery.
Building coordination — Certificates of insurance, freight elevator bookings and loading windows are arranged before the truck leaves Queens.
Delivery and installation — Pieces are carried in, placed, assembled and leveled, and every scrap of packaging goes back with the crew.

Receive
Your vendors ship to 38-20 Review Avenue, and each carrier is booked into a weekday slot between 9am and 3pm.
Inspect
Every item is unpacked and checked against the purchase order, so damage or a shortage is raised with the vendor right away.
Photograph and log
Each piece is photographed and recorded against your project in BOND, where you can see what has arrived without calling.
Store
Goods wait in climate-controlled space, grouped by project, until you confirm the site is ready for them.
Deliver and install
We book the building, bring the whole order across in one trip, then place, assemble and level each piece before taking the packaging away.
