The Go-To Receiving Warehouse for Furniture Manufacturers
Furniture manufacturers ship finished production to our receiving warehouse in the market where it sold, and our crew carries each piece into the buyer's home.

What a receiving warehouse does for a furniture brand
A receiving warehouse accepts freight on your behalf close to the person who bought it. For a manufacturer, pallets and crates leave the factory for one of our 34 warehouse locations, are photographed and condition-checked when they land, and wait in climate-controlled storage until our crew delivers each order into the home.

A dated condition record
You choose whether we open it

How receiving works for furniture manufacturers

Receive
Your carrier books a weekday appointment at the warehouse location nearest the buyer. We ask for the bill of lading so we know exactly what left your dock.
Inspect, Photograph, and Document
Each crate's outside packaging is condition-checked against your list; damage is reported before storage, and a crate is opened for inspection at your request, free of charge. Every arrival is photographed and logged in Bond under its order, so your team can tell a customer the piece has landed.
Store
Pieces wait in climate-controlled space, kept together by order, while the buyer finishes a renovation or the rest of a set comes off the production line. Fresh photos are available on request.
Deliver and install
On the date your customer picks, the crew texts ahead, protects floors and doorways, places and assembles each piece, photographs it in position and records the customer’s sign-off.
Our receiving warehouse, freight to the door or a standard 3PL?
| What you get | Receiving warehouse | Self-storage unit | Standard 3PL |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who meets the truck | Our team, at a commercial dock | The buyer, if they are home that day | Dock staff, logging pallets as stock |
| Condition record | Packaging photographed on arrival, full inspection on request | Whatever the buyer spots while signing | A carton count, usually |
| Waiting for the home to be ready | Climate-controlled storage, no minimum period | Seldom possible; the carrier sets the day | Racked for picking and shipping |
| Getting it inside | Carried to the room, assembled and placed | Often left at the curb or in the garage | Handed on to another carrier |
| Packaging | Taken away by the crew | Left with the buyer | Left with the buyer |
| Proof of delivery | Photos in position and a recorded sign-off | A carrier’s delivery receipt | Depends on the carrier used |
