Showrooms' Best Receiving Warehouse, Released on Your Date
Showrooms send floor samples and client orders to our receiving warehouse, where each delivery is photographed and checked against your list.

What a receiving warehouse does for a showroom
A receiving warehouse is a commercial dock that signs for freight on your showroom’s behalf. Makers ship floor samples and client orders to us, every shipment is photographed and condition-checked against your list, and the pieces wait in climate-controlled storage until the floor is ready for them or the client’s home is.
What’s included in showroom receiving

A dock for freight your showroom can’t take
Floor samples held until the floor set
Client orders kept under the client’s name
Damaged packaging reported first
Inspection on request, at no charge
Unexpected shipments traced
Back stock in climate-controlled space
Delivery, placement and cleanup
How receiving works for a showroom

Receive
Give each maker the address of the warehouse nearest you, with the showroom’s or the client’s name on the label. Carriers book a weekday appointment between 9am and 3pm, and we ask for the bill of lading so we know what was actually sent.
Inspect, Photograph, and Document
Crate and carton exteriors are condition-checked against your list, and damage is reported before storage; cartons are opened for inspection whenever you ask, without charge. Each shipment is photographed and recorded in Bond under the floor set or client order, and your staff follow its status from their login.
Store
Samples and sold pieces wait in climate-controlled space, grouped by floor set or by client, while the floor is being changed over or a customer’s renovation runs late.
Deliver and install
On the day you choose, pieces go to your showroom floor or to the client’s home. The client gets a text about 30 minutes before the crew arrives, and the crew places and assembles everything and takes the packaging away.
Receiving warehouse, showroom back room or standard 3PL?

| What customers see | Nothing; trucks unload at our dock | Crates and pallets near the selling floor | Nothing |
| Record when it lands | Packaging photographed, inspection on request | Whatever staff write down | Typically a carton count |
