Amenity Furniture Installation Near Washington DC for Private Label International
Private Label International designs and furnishes amenity spaces for apartment communities. For an office-to-apartment conversion in Falls Church, Virginia, our Washington DC team installed 224 pieces across the amenity floor.
Case StudiesAmenity furniture installation near Washington DC is a different job from a home delivery. An apartment building's amenity floor is furnished once and then used every day by the people who live there, so every booth, table and chair has to land in its planned spot and stay there. Private Label International, a firm that designs and furnishes amenity spaces for apartment communities, brought one of these floors to Elite Anywhere in February 2025: 224 pieces for an office-to-apartment conversion in Falls Church, Virginia.

The client and the building
Private Label International takes apartment communities from design through purchasing. On this building, their scope was full interior design and procurement: they chose the furniture, bought it and planned where each piece would go. Our role was the part residents never see: getting those pieces into the building and into position.
The building is one of three former office towers converted into apartments, and it keeps its office character: raw concrete columns, floor-to-ceiling windows and long open floor plates. Private Label's portfolio describes amenity floors with game rooms, co-working space and conference rooms. That design creates many small zones, each furnished differently, and each one has to read as finished on its own.
What the 224 pieces covered
The 224 pieces covered booth seating, lounge pods and a game room, along with the furniture between them. On the floor, that meant:
- Booth seating. A row of high-back red booths in a light wood frame, each with a white table on a black pedestal base. A row like this only works if the booths line up and the gaps between them stay even.
- Wood-slat lounge pods. Sculptural round pods built from curved wood slats, each furnished inside. One holds a round table, two burgundy swivel chairs, a pair of black faceted side stools and a blue round rug. Another holds a curved sofa.
- Curtained lounge pods. Round alcoves enclosed by floor-length curtains, with low lounge chairs and black side tables set on an orange-and-gray rug.
- A communal table. One long walnut table made of four sections set end to end on casters, with red chairs on both sides, next to a blue kitchenette.
- Shelving. A tall black steel shelving unit beside a concrete column, styled with books, vases and plants.
- A game room. Two walnut table-tennis tables, a foosball table, and blue sofas around a round coffee table on a yellow rug.
The floor also included a kitchen island with walnut stools, a bistro table with green chairs by the windows, and a light wood table with black chairs. A floor like this is many small rooms rather than one large one, and each needs its own furniture in its own place.

How the week ran
The project ran from February 17 to 24, 2025, a week focused on one building. Installation took place on February 21, with the crew working through the floor space by space.
One hub ran the job from start to finish. Our Washington DC team carried the furniture in and set it up as a single white glove installation, with one crew accountable for every zone.
Rugs go down before the furniture that sits on them, and the largest pieces need a clear path before the small ones fill the room. Planning that order before the truck is loaded means fewer pieces get moved twice.

The finished floor
The result is a floor residents use daily. The red booths sit in a straight row with their tables centered. A wood-slat pod frames a round table and two chairs on its blue rug. The long communal table runs four sections end to end, with red chairs along both sides. Against its concrete column, the black shelving stands styled and ready. Inside the curtained pods, lounge chairs and side tables sit on round rugs, and behind the booths those pods open onto the same floor, so the zones read as one space.

What made it work
- One hub for the whole job. Our Washington DC team in Alexandria ran it, from the first day on site to the last piece placed.
- A week set aside. The team kept its focus on this building from February 17 to 24, 2025.
- One installation for 224 pieces. Booths, pods, the game room and everything in between went in as one white glove installation, with one crew accountable for it.
Planning an amenity install near Washington DC
If you are furnishing a clubroom, lounge or lobby in the Washington DC area, here is how we work. Vendors ship to our Washington DC hub at 5160 Eisenhower Ave, Alexandria, VA 22304. Receiving runs Monday to Friday, 9am–3pm, by appointment. On arrival, the outside packaging is checked, photographed and matched against the list you sent us. If packaging arrives damaged, we tell you before it is stored, and you decide whether we open it. Pieces are opened and inspected on request.
We can hold the order in storage until the building is ready, short or long term, with no minimum period. Before install day, we book the freight elevator and loading window with the building and provide the certificate of insurance. On the day, crews are sized to the job, the route through the building is protected with blankets and coverings, and the packaging leaves with the crew.
Our white glove delivery and installation page describes the service, and what white glove delivery includes goes through each step. Elite Anywhere runs 34 warehouse locations, so a designer with projects in several cities can work with one team.
