Two Days in East Hampton, Finished on Time

A Manhattan design studio needed a home in East Hampton installed at the start of June. Our New York crew ran it over two days. Here is how.

A summer house has a deadline that does not move. In June 2026 a Manhattan design studio needed a home in East Hampton ready for the season, and booked our New York team for a two-day install. This is what white glove delivery in the Hamptons looked like on a whole-house job: 179 pieces, one crew, and every room set by the end of the second day.

From Long Island City to the East End

We serve the East End directly from our staffed warehouse in Long Island City. The crew that loads the truck there is the same crew that carries each piece into the house, so nothing changes hands on the way.

The studio booked the install on May 29. The crew was on site three days later, on June 1, and completed the install on June 2.

Designers who ship to the warehouse ahead of a Hamptons install get the same receiving we run for every project: each delivery is photographed in its packaging as it arrives, checked against the list you sent us and held until the install date.

Install days

The crew worked through the house room by room. Floor protection went down in every room they worked in, including the sunroom, and each piece was staged on moving pads until it was placed.

Library and sunroom

In the library, a dark leather lounge chair and ottoman went onto the rug in front of floor-to-ceiling built-in wood shelves, beside the window seat. In the sunroom, five green wicker armchairs were set in a row along the full-height windows.

Bedrooms and the children's room

Bed frames were built in the rooms they belong to. In one bedroom, a rattan armchair with a cream cushion and a pair of turned wood pedestal tables went under the paneled windows. The children's room got a white daybed with a patterned upholstered back and arms, set against leaf-pattern wallpaper with a white nightstand beside it.

Study, stair hall and patio

The wood-paneled study took a desk and a sculptural table. An antique two-door wood cabinet was set into the space beneath the white staircase. The outdoor furniture was set on the patio.

The house mixed leather, wicker, rattan, upholstery and antique wood, and each piece was unwrapped, assembled where needed and placed to the studio's plan. The crew took the boxes, blankets and wrapping away with them.

What the client said

"Everything worked well and we finished on time."

Our customer success team offered the studio a follow-up call after the install. The studio said it didn't need one.

What came next

The studio has continued to work with us. It booked follow-on moving and removal work after the install and was sending freight to our Long Island City warehouse in August.

What made it work

  • One crew from dock to room. The team that loaded in Long Island City placed the pieces in East Hampton. No hand-off to a local carrier on the East End.
  • Two full days on site. The schedule matched the size of the house: 179 pieces across a library, a sunroom, a study, the bedrooms, a children's room, the stair hall and the patio.
  • The house stayed protected throughout. Floor protection and moving pads went down wherever the crew worked.
  • Nothing left behind. The crew took the packaging with them, so every room was clear of boxes at handover.

Quick answers

Do you deliver to the Hamptons?
Yes. We serve the Hamptons directly from our staffed New York warehouse in Long Island City, and the same crew carries the delivery from our dock into the house.
Can I ship furniture to your warehouse before a Hamptons install?
Yes. Vendors ship to Long Island City, which receives Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm, by appointment. Each delivery is photographed in its packaging as it arrives, checked against the list you sent us and held until your install date. If you want pieces opened and inspected, we do that on request.
How far ahead should I book an install?
As early as you can in the season. On this project the studio booked on May 29 and the crew was on site June 1. Send us your dates and piece count and we'll respond within 24 hours.
Do you assemble the furniture and take the packaging away?
Yes. White glove delivery includes carrying each piece to its room, assembling it where needed, placing it, and taking the boxes, blankets and wrapping away with the crew.
How much does a Hamptons delivery cost?
Every delivery is quoted individually. The quote depends on the number of pieces, the access at the house and the number of install days. Send us the details and we'll respond within 24 hours.
