White glove delivery across Boston.

A Beacon Hill doorway measured in inches, a Back Bay brownstone with a staircase that turns twice, a street with no legal place to stop. Goods are received and checked at our Hanover location first, so the only thing left to solve on the day is the building itself.

Include specific details such as pickup from and delivering to complete address, type of items, number of items, weight of each item, dimensions (L x W x H), current packaging type, and estimated value of the order.

Elite Anywhere delivery — customer signing at the doorstep of a Boston home
The Elite Anywhere difference

Boston's accountable logistics partner.

Boston furniture has to fit buildings that were finished long before anyone sold a sectional. Beacon Hill rowhouses have doorways measured in inches, Back Bay brownstones turn their staircases twice, and South End streets rarely offer a legal place to stop a truck. The design trade gathers at the Boston Design Center and in SoWa, and its clients expect the building problem solved before the delivery date.

We receive at Hanover on the South Shore, hold pieces through a renovation, and handle permits, stair measurements and building paperwork before anything leaves the South Shore for the city or the suburbs.

One team is answerable from intake to installation, whether the address is a Beacon Hill walk-up or a shingle-style house out in Wellesley.

Built for Boston

We plan around the region's realities.

Boston's housing stock is older than its delivery rules, and both are unforgiving. A piece that fits the room may not fit the stairwell, and a truck that arrives without a permit has nowhere legal to stand. Working that out in Hanover, before the piece travels, is cheaper than working it out on Charles Street.

  • Access measured in advance for Beacon Hill, Back Bay and the North End, including stair turns
  • Street-occupancy permits and resident-parking restrictions arranged before the delivery date
  • Certificates of insurance filed with Back Bay and Seaport building management ahead of time
  • Snow-season planning, with protection down before anything crosses a lobby in February
  • Climate-controlled receiving at Hanover, off Route 3 and clear of city congestion
  • Every piece photographed on intake and checked against the order before it is stored

Frequently asked questions

White glove delivery in Boston.

Is there a receiving warehouse for Boston interior design projects?
Yes. Goods are received at our Hanover location on the South Shore, where each piece is unwrapped, photographed and checked against the purchase order before being stored in climate-controlled space. Intake is by appointment on weekdays between 9am and 3pm, which keeps the dock clear for pieces that need careful unwrapping.
Can you access historic and narrow streets?
That is most of the work here. We measure the full route in advance — doorway widths, stair turns, landing ceiling heights — and where a street has no legal loading position we arrange the occupancy permit before the date rather than hoping on the morning.
Can you receive from several vendors and deliver together?
Yes, and for a renovation it is the sensible approach. Pieces arrive at Hanover over weeks or months as vendors ship, are checked and held, then go into the house in one coordinated delivery once the work is genuinely finished.
Do you inspect and photograph items on arrival?
Each item is photographed as it comes off the truck and tallied one piece at a time, never by the carton. A carton listed as one line can hold six chairs, so counting cartons is how a shortage reaches install day undetected.
Do you provide a certificate of insurance?
Yes, routinely. Back Bay, Seaport and most managed buildings will not admit a crew without one naming the correct entities, so we ask what your building requires at the point of booking.
How do you handle winter deliveries?
Snow emergencies close streets and remove parking at short notice, so winter dates carry a fallback plan and the goods stay safe in Hanover until the route is workable. Floor protection goes down before anything crosses a lobby.

Something landing in Boston?

Give us the purchase orders and the destination. We will receive it at Hanover, work out the doorway and the permit while it sits safely on a rack, and deliver it into the room finished.
